School Closure Home Learning

Week Commencing: 13th July 2020

I hope you are all well and enjoyed the sunshine this weekend.

This is the last week of school before the summer holidays. You have all worked extremely hard and should be really proud! Well done! :)

This week is 'Transition Week'. There are a range of activities available for you to complete, please look at the timetable. You can pick and choose the activities you would like to do.

If you need anything please email or message me on Teams.

Take care and stay safe.

Please read everyday as it is really important! On our class page I have provided the website link for AR so that you can quiz on the books you are reading. Don’t worry too much about ‘book levels’. We will get back on track with these when we return to school.

I have created an account on Classroom Secrets KIDS –interactive activities where the children can learn online. Please email me so I can send you your child’s personal log on. begum.s@welearn365.com

Also, look out for our new subscription to NumBots - from the makers of TTRS. An interative, Angry Birds Style, game that allows children to become fluent in addition and subtraction mental recall. Please see the letter below. If you require your child's login details, please email me.

Times Table Rock Stars is available for Year 2 to practise daily. Your child's login details are the same as their NumBots login details.

During your week, take the time to spend time together and do activities together: exercise, cook, build, draw, watch, play, dance, sing, read and write! You might like to take photographs of the things you do at home and send them to me with a small caption. We can share what we've been up to via our class page. This would be a great way of being able to see each other.

If you need anything please do not hesitate to ask.
