School Closure Home Learning
Week Beginning: Monday 13th July
Dear Yellow Class,
We’ve reached the final week of the academic year and it’s with a heavy heart that I write this message to you all. 15 academic weeks of lockdown learning and lots of Teams calls later, Yellow Class 2019-2020 has finally come to a close. This is something that I am very sad about.
I hope that you have all managed to read your end of year reports that went out last week. I am really proud of you all and although our time together has been cut short, I have lots of long lasting memories, including those of lockdown learning, that will stay with me for a long time. You have made me laugh and smile throughout this time and it has been great to share lots of conversations together.
To end the term in the right way and give us the opportunity to say goodbye to each other, I would like to schedule a *FINAL TEAMS CALL* on Wednesday 15th at 10:30am. It would be great to see you all there!
This week, there are range of reflection and transitional activities for you to complete. Should you wish to continue with the White Rose Maths activities, the final week has been uploaded. There are also a range of optional maths resources too.
THANK YOU for being a great year group to teach - I have really enjoyed working with you all and wish you every success in your next year group. Please make sure you still come and see me! I would love to hear about achievements. I would also like to send a big thank you to all the parents and carers who have continued to work so positively with me throughout the year and, of course, during this unusual period of time. Home-schooling has challenged us all in so many different ways – you’ve done an incredible job!
Have a wonderful summer holiday with your families.
Take care, stay safe and I look forward to seeing you all soon.
If you need me...
Feel free to get in contact during school hours for any help or questions.
